It is drama, all right!

I spent my afternoon time watching my favorite television shows over the star network, ABS-CBN, and right after “It’s Showtime”, I continued watching “Doble Cara”, which is about twin ladies where one is good and another a lesser evil. It is actually a drama, because it is not possible that one evil twin wants to take everything that the good twin possesses, just because her twin sister is good. Sometimes too, I change the channel to an English show because I find it ridiculous to see the antagonist stop the marriage of the good twin and her man, when this woman, the antagonist, is not even related to the actress. Well, it is all drama, but I want to watch it because it dares my creative mind about what will happen next. Indeed, I and my sister joke and say we are the scriptwriters because we already “know what the next dialogues and scenes will be”. Do you watch your favorite TV shows and allow yourselves to decide what the next scenes will be? If so, then you are an artist… like me…

@MGjhaud it is, especially when the final episode is finished on ABS-CBN, they show the bloopers committed by the lead stars. it is really fun to see a serious Coco Martin erring in delivering his lines

my sister shouts when a contestant falls in the water, this is in American Ninja Warriors over AXN. i don't shout, but i laugh because of the positions or stance of these contestants once they fall down.

I don't watch too much TV but I like to guess 'whodunnit' in crime dramas.

i do that too, when i watch NCSI, CSI Cyber, Criminal Minds starring Gary Sinise, and even Supernatural, i love to create a criminal in my mind and "do justice" with the person who is the antagonist why he committed that.

That's because those dramas we have been watching have similar plots that's why we can already guess what will happen next . What's new ? ! Nothing ! Though , i must say i enjoy them. It makes me look forward to the evenings when i can watch them too .

@ridingbet Oh yes , Jean is so conniving with the two antagonists . I wasn't able to watch that last night because the 6-6 schedule became 6-10 yesterday . Besides , i was already too sleepy once i have cleaned the freezer when the electriicty was back at 10 p.m/ since the ice have all thawed . Hay naku . But i hope to watch it tonight , 2 episodes of it .

Oh, just when I watched few scenes of Doble Cara, days ago. Twas where the supposed bf of the mean twin was forcing her to do it with him. I've seen those scenes in so.many tv dramas or movies. So, just like you & your sis, I knew the lines they were to say. The scriptwriters in us. Wow!

@ridingbet Oh yes. These pinoy tv series are so predictable. Just like you, I'd rather watch AXN or HBO.

@KnehKnah i am in to AXN when it is 9:45PM because all the drama, suspense, and action series are shown. HBO, i think i choose what films i wish to see, because i think i have seen many of those they show there.

indeed, my friend. the scenes are very predictable, but why do i and my sister still watch it? it is because there are no good shows on AXN in those time slots.

I seldom watch these dramas now because I think they are already so predictable. Hihi I already know what will happen next and sometimes when the show has good ratings, they try to make the story longer, inserting scenes that are no longer important to the main story.

yes, just like double face or Doble Cara. they keep on extending the story line because of its high ratings as compared to the afternoon shows of GMA.

Well my favourites are game of thrones and breaking bad...and it's worthless to predict something in game of thrones because it's full of turns and twists..but I do tried to think of what's gonna happen next in breaking bad....but got a little success..

Sometimes it's easy to do that, but when the scriptwriters are excellent and always throw twists and turns in the show, you never know what's going to happen next. That's what I love about Once Upon a Time. I never know what's going to happen next and I like it that way. I get bored with a show I can figure out from the beginning. I feel the same about books. Some authors are so predictable they aren't worth reading. But that's my opinion.

@ridingbet Neither. It's all the fairy tales woven together to make a great series. Some good, some evil, all a great mix.

@just4him the writers make our minds get twisted with the stories interweaving, and it is up to us to make our own denouement, right?

Yes, in the past, but I felt so bad at times when they depict a very wrong idea or scene and wanted to call the attention of the scriptwriter to change/correct it. I don't watch these days due to lack of time.

i applaud those shows that depict the true nature of a policeman's work, like Ang Probinsiyano. the show must truly demonstrate the real jobs of these people, and not the bad side of them, although in reality, some deviate from good to bad.

that is why we should take a crash course on scriptwriting because we can already make stories with your creative minds, right?
