Yes I remember. Parents don't like celebrating birthdays though! So just a Happy birthday is good enough, and out to eat or something!

normally my mom would celebrate both on my day so she doesnt have to plan and cook twice in such a short span.. but we always get something special on our birthday separately.

Yes, I remember my parents' birthday. I used to buy them gifts that they need when I was younger, now we usually go out and have a meal together.
