Living room clean

So I got tired of looking at my sons huge mess in his bedroom and my living room and I mean major mess lol. He had dang near all his toys out of his toy boxes and the floor was even dirty. I finally got fed up this morning and spent an whole hour cleaning both living room and bedroom floors. The only thing I have left is to put all the laundry away in which I am doing laundry shortly at my mother in laws so it adds more laundry. When we move, I am not letting my son get away with leaving his toys everywhere. He picks up everywhere else but his own home. I am also going to be getting rid of toys he does not play with so we don't take so much when we move. I love my son but he is spoiled rotten with toys. Hopefully I get it done very soon lol. Later.

I used to threaten my kids that I would throw their toys out if they didn't pick them up. A threat I followed through on. My son still holds it against me that I got rid of first edition Star Wars action figures that would be worth a lot of money right now.

@carebear29 Mine was young too, but he always was a Star Wars fan and I think he always will be. When we go to Wal-Mart he always checks to see what's new with Star Wars, especially with the new movie just out.

@just4him Yeah my son just got a new star wars toy himself. He is getting into the bigger kid stuff now.

Sometimes the house needs a good clean up for refreshing the mind. Hope you get rid of those things that are not of any use at home soon. Good day!

It's the best thing you had done: to keep away some toys he is not interested in; but later he will also ask for it then you can get it from your storage area. It is really hard to do so many household chores.

My daughter used to be the same way. I could go to my mom's and when we went to leave she'd clean up her toys but at home she wouldn't. I got tired of it one day and told her you either pick them up and put them away or I am going to throw them away. Since then she has put her stuff away when she is done with it.

Glad you were able to pick up the house for the time being. When i have my niece and nephew over they get toys every where too but they pick up before they leave.
