Well i called today to reschedule my drivers test and was able to get an appointment in the afternoon on Monday. I want to practice backing up without palming the wheel. I can't bear to have my next teacher or the same one fail me automatically because of that.
I keep thinking about how I failed it and everything that guy said to me and I just feel so horrible. I get depressed all over again. I am trying to find a way to take those emotions and instead of feeling bad, use them to make me more confident and determined. I don't know if that makes sense, but I feel like I can manage to do it and then maybe I have an even higher chance of passing the test.
How did you over come your nerves while taking your test? Was your tester mean and/or rude like mine was?

I took my driving test over 10 years ago. I was totally nervous! I thought I had failed because the man told me to turn right and I went left. He asked why? I said because the left opening was right there. Then, I went during heavy morning traffic (people driving to worry) and I waited until the dash line to turn right. But many people were already cutting the bike lane. He told me, I should sometimes break the rules?? How can I break the rules? Regardless - I passed with a minus one point. I did not have to back up or parallel park for my test. I just stayed calm and who cares if I am driving ultra slow (or the rest of the people). Good luck to you!

When I took my test it was in the middle of winter and it was a man made course. The teacher told me to take a left from the furthers lane on the right and he told me at the last minute to turn and I couldnt see the lines on the road so i made that left hand turn from 4 lanes to the right. He was very lenient with me I should of failed right there but he passed me, thankfully . Just take a deep breath and try to relax
