Kodaikanal is visited by many tourists in South India. It is situated in Tami Nadu. Whenever visitors come to Kodaikanal they stay there for a week. Bryant Park on the foothills is a beautiful park. There is lot of greenery. There is a lake in the vicinity where many visitors for boating. It is a perfect place for photography. There is dew and mist in the area. If the visitors are lucky on sunny days the place looks awesome. There are beautiful flowers which grow in alpine environment. Visitors should book a hotel and stay in Kodaikanal for sometime. Dilip Kumar's film Ram Aur Shyam was shot in Kodaikanal.

Lovely place! I have been to South India but couldn't visit Kodaikanal. I am really eager to visit the place! By the way, the place in the photo resembles Khajjiar, in Himachal Pradesh.

Is Kodaikanal better than Ooty. Have you visited Coorg?

Dear Avinashji, thanks for the comments. I did not go to Coorg. I heard it is very romantic. It is difficult to say which is better, Ooty or Kodaikanal. Ooty has more beautiful tea-gardens and eucalyptus forests. Kodaikanal has better valleys, more parks and gardens.
