I step outside to get the paper. A rustle from the bushes draws my attention. I squint at the foliage, shake my head, and go back inside. The kids and I walk to the park. I hear footsteps behind us. I do a quick 180. Nothing. I shrug and hurry the kids on. A shadow in the corner morphs into human shape and then melts back into the darkness. I frown and sigh. A scratch at the window makes my head turn. I fling open the drapes...and there y'all are. My followers! I see you. All 6 of you! You can't hide behind the lifeless banana tree, Sishy and rebel-woman! I recognize those shoes peeking out from the blossoming blueberries, Sol! And your innocent whistling fools nobody, Nikki. Nehal and Dishari, please peel your faces off my living room window. There's nothing to see here, folks! Move along. Do I need to send y'all on some kind of mission...quest..."thing"??
