I just came back from a meeting with my psychiatrist and my case manager. Usually my case manager won't be going with me to appointments but she wanted to meet my psychiatrist this time. It was a good appointment overall. No medication changes, which is a positive thing! We did talk about my stress level and the related hallucinations that it brings when at a high level. I am working on coping with that without medication increases though, as more medication makes me feel very tired.
A big reason my case manager came along was because I wanted the doctor to explain Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) to her. My doctor gave a very good, very honest explanation. She said she trusted me not to get upset. And I did pretty good – I realized at one point I was scratching my arm and managed to stop. Dealing with BPD is hard...it hurts to be described as needy. Got to face the truth though to get better.

It's great that you accept the facts and are committed to working with your psychiatrist. That's a great attitude.

@Lolaze I'm glad you are progressing to that point, then. I'm sure it's been very challenging. It sounds like you have good psychiatric support.
