Is Watching a Boxing Match Worth Waking Up Early on Sunday Morning?

I can't say that I'm a big fan of boxing, as I prefer watching games like soccer, handball or rugby, but whenever a boxer from my country is involved in a great fight, my interest for this sport raises. This is the case of the match for the WBC world title between former and hopefully future world champion Lucian Bute from Romania and current title holder Badou Jack, which is scheduled to start at about 6 am on Sunday morning in my country. I am used to waking up at 6:40 on weekdays, but not on Sundays, so I would have to make an exception this time and wake up very early to watch the fight live. However, I haven't made up my mind yet, so I'm asking you what you would choose in such a situation: If you weren't a huge boxing fan, would you still give up your Sunday morning sleep for the sake of watching a boxing match which might as well represent Bute's swansong in the case of a defeat or would you you simply enjoy your usually lazy Sunday schedule and watch the replay of the match later?

Replays are not the same. I am not a box fan at all. But several decades ago, when Muhamed Ali fought, we would stay up with my husband no matter what the hour and no matter what we had to do the next day.

I agree, there's no charm in watching a replay, so I feel tempted to watch the game live; even if, to be honest, the fighter I support, Bute, can't even get close to the value of the legendary Muhammad Ali, I incline to believe that it will be an interesting match.

Pray that the opponent is knocked out and put to sleep early so you can go back to your sleep too

I will, although I'm a little afraid that's exactly what will happen, but in the opposite direction! I hope Bute will prove me wrong, of course, andI guess a fast knockout is preferable to a long and uneventful12-round match, as I have seen before in boxing.
