I again heard the voice of slapping from my neighbourhood .... Yes its a common activity ... A lady in my neighbour been beaten up ??? And one year later she commits suicide ..... In headlines for just a day .. And then vanished . She was not just the one living here ..... There are thousands of women facing domestic violence .. Friends before you sleep today just think about women who are facing it ..... And all the men out there .... If you are a man then respect women .... Domestic violence is a sin ... Realize it ... Its high time Indians .... #RAISEYOURVOICE....... #Respectwomen .....

Its not about women or men its about humans and one human should respect other.... And yes we should respect women...we are from india and we know that what is the relation between husband and wife in most of the rural areas which is not logical at all...they think that husband are superior which needs to be changed... #RAISEYOURVOICE #RAISEEQUALITY

Domestic is a problem. More women are stand up against domestic violence. There's more attention on the issue. Respect is necessary. Prayers.

@sabashekh Oh! What a surprise. Then most if the woman in your place doesn't know their rights in the society? Or was it still even an issue?

The reaction should come from within . Sometimes appeals and petitions will not pay anything. In a family, many things do happen. Some appear like domestic violence. But, the next day everything appears smooth. It will be difficlt to judge what is D.V and what is not. In the Indian society, the lady is quite tolerant. We can not expect anything 'as decisive' from her. Sometimes we become jokers in public.

As @imravii said it, it is more an issue of equality. As a human. Men and women both are victims to domestic violence. I had seen both gender fall victim to it. So raise voice together for equality and for humanity.

It is an awful thing and should not be allowed. The ones who do it should go to jail. Thankfully here the ones who do it do go to jail.

This is really shameful and sad to realize that such things still happening in our society. Domestic violence should have zero tolerance.
