According to religion, many of us have knowledge about what is going to occur in the last days here on Earth. Religion reminds us that many catastrophes and natural disasters will be occurring and will be the signs that the end of the world is near.
It was just yesterday that I read online about two earthquakes occurring in different parts of the world, along with a threatening tsunami.
As some of you may know, earthquakes occur due to an adjustment of the main tectonic plates in the earth´s crust
As a consequence of this sliding of the tectonic plates, many regions around the world are destroyed, causing many life loses.
These losses; either human or nature, over time, are renewed by natural processes or by the relocation of and establishment of new and safer human settlements.
This leads me to believe of a new world in which people can live and prosper safely avoiding those regions of the world where the threat of a natural disaster are more latent.
And where humanity can live in peace and harmony in a renewed world.

Unfortunately, that is true! Hopefully, some of those who long for a better future will put their two cents at accomplishing it!

@TheHorse Yeah, it´s a minimum, which compared to the number of people involved in this planet seems like a small grain of sand in the beach; however, it counts, too.

@quantum2020 I agree. I've tried to do my part so far. But sometimes it feels like spitting in the wind.

I cannot imagine much a world where mankind can live in peace and harmony. Were Christ to live again, we would again crucify him. Natural disasters are nothing compared to what we do to each other. It is a pity, but it is the truth.

Yes, human kind often is not or doesn´t want to follow the paths that God has designed for us, instead, a slap in the face one another is the common thing on a daily basis.

@quantum2020 Men with power love to send people to war. And those with no power, don´t dare say no.

I also believe that we are close to the time when this wicked world will end and a new world ruled by God will begin. Then we will live in peace and prosperity and health for eternity.

It has been foretold that, "... the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." --2 Peter 3:10
And that an ancient prophet had a vision where, in The End, he saw, "...a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there was no longer any sea."--Revelation 21:1
So for all my fellow followers of Christ that don't believe in a Big Bang, you're wrong. There IS a big bang (you know, that "great noise"?). It just hasn't happened yet. Ha!
I totally agree with you, Jose. When that new earth is here and we're ruled by the One who created all things, humanity will have peace and harmony.

That´s correct! Only under the guidance of who created us, we shall be able to live in peace and harmony among cultures and nations!
Great scrptures!
