Got my discussion deleted?

April 30, 2016 10:48am CST
I created a discussion about what time is is around the world and I can't find it anymore. Guess it's been deleted? I think I saw something like this in the guidelines about not making generic discussions but at least I'd like a notification to know It was deleted

In this specific case, the discussion would probably have been considered a poll. Unfortunately, since that sort of topic is against the guidelines, it would be subject to deletion. At this time myLot isn't sending notifications when topics are deleted, so the only way to know if it was would be to visit the discussion page directly. Topics that are removed will give visitors an error message along with not appearing in your list of created discussions.

I always keep in mind that the site is free and the site owners reserve the right to delete my entire account. I've been at other sites where that has happened. Was never sure what I had done. But what could I do? I figured: "Eh! Skip it!" This site is extremely user-friendly. The myLot site owners are very reasonable and very nice, as are the community members. If you got a discussion deleted but your account is still here and you're still earning … just say “Oh well!” Keep on myLotting!

They don't notify you. Since you already know it was against the rule.

Writing down what time it is in the different myLot countries can't be called a discussion, can it?

As per Terms of Use Agreement, myLot has the right to delete any discussion that goes against any myLot Guideline. Likewise, it has the right to delete any discussion without notification to any myLot member.

One of mine got deleted also but I suppose they don't need to remind us why it got deleted. It's our responsibility to know what's not allowed.

It make us to more thoroughly before making a topic of discussion, whether it violates the rules or not. So that there is no longer a topic of discussion were deleted, because it violates the guidelines.
