I have 53,080 unread emails! I need to start Unsubscribing!

Synced with 13 e-mail accounts (between my personal, shopping, junk mail, my boyfriend's accounts and my parents' email) we have 53,080 unread emails! I get lazy to delete my emails especially promotional ones from shopping sites. I am starting to unsubscribe to e-mails I do not want. It is a nice feeling to see the Unsubscribe Confirmation 
I guess you can call me the hoarder of emails. But I do keep sentimental e-mails in folders like from family, friends and important emails.
Do you often clear your emails, delete them, empty the trash?

I need to start clearing out my emails daily so they do not add up! Lol. Hope you have a great weekend

@miniam Oh no - not useless programs 
They're stores I shop at but I get too much overtime. And for the spam - I cannot control those mails.

I have to go through my main account and then weed out the other two I have. Only one has only a few in it. I don't use it often so I guess that is why it is near empty.

@infatuatedbby well, tackle that as you would anything else. A little bit at a time on the very old stuff, and as new emails come in, deal with those immediately so the numbers don't just keep growing. :)

That's quite a ton of emails, Ms. Michelle, hahaha! It would be next to impossible for you to go through all those and look for important mail :)

@infatuatedbby I'm sure it's the spam mails that accounted for most of that. To get rid of those, you might as well migrate to a new account, inform your contacts, and start clean from there. The spams won't be able to track you hehehe!

Not all that often I must admit. The few times that I have done it... that's exactly the time I delete something that I needed. So, now I'm a bit hesitant!!

That's huge emails. I deleted my emails every now and then in my iPhone and save some to my folders that are very important ones.
