Trying to get my New York sale tax number for food cart

Today I been trying to get my New York sale tax number so I can open my food cart. Here the problem the log information I have it not working. So the site is asking for information that I do not have any more. This site is one of the hardest site to get around on. So I hope when Monday comes they can snail mail me the paper work. I am doing that with the helath inusrance now. I had no problem getting my Federal ID number I need this in case I hire people down the road and for income taxes. The federal goverment site is so easy to get around why can not New York state do that OK have a fun day

They never makes these things easy do they? If they really want people to work as much as they complain about. They should try to make these things easier. Good luck.
