It's infuriating that we need this electrician so badly and yet he forgot his phone. I was worried because he doesn't reply and thought he change his phone number, so I decided to call him up but it got hang up. Then, I received a text from unknown text, turned out to be his daughter and told me he's in our neighborhood but left his phone Since yesterday Mom had been asking me to tell the neighbors he hang out with to drop by our place. But I didn't do it because he's phone still active and made a missed call.

@Letranknight2015 oh, the same happened too here at home. some short circuit because the wire connecting our big TV and where the DVD's, sound system and the karaoke are connected had the wire peeled off, so we had short circuit during that black out incident. i am a nurse, major in maternal and child nursing, minor in electronics, plumbing, car repair, etc, so, during that power outage, i fixed the wires and therefore, we were able to watch movies when there was black out in the city proper.

You should have listened to your streetwise mother and could have had the repairs done in good time. I know it is rather frustrating to encounter such an experience and be left in the lurch at such a pressing time. However, we should never abandon traditional wise old decisions when available. I know it can be seemingly senseless but the important thing at the end of the day is to get the problem solved, all else is irrelevant.

Well, it doesn't matter now @artemeis , because one of her friends recommend another electrician who is nearby and was able to deal with the problem. And he's even in the neighborhood.

I can see how frustrating that would be. If he is supposed to be available at a moments notice then he should have his phone with him. I, of course don't know all the circumstances but in my opinion when he realized he had left it home he should have gone back after it. In my area people carry their phones everywhere, even into the bathroom. I'm afraid that I am not like that. If I get up and go into another part of the house I don't think to pick my phone up and carry it with me. Many times my daughter has asked me to use my phone or to look something up on it and I have to go get it or send her after it. I have trained myself to always take it when I leave the house though.

@Letranknight2015 If he keeps losing work like that it may teach him to keep his phone on him.

Business is business. I think we are all expected to always be prepared and organized things that we need to do for tomorrow or else we will lose clients like what happened to that technician. Sad to know that.

Maybe, he had no intention to left his phone. He must be forgetful. Good that you find someone to fix things.

That's a possibility, the last time he was drunk with his friends when he answered the phone. He must have attended some event @ida123
