can we trust people from social net working sites?

since two months i am regularly chatting with a girl on social networking site. we share everything from family to business etc etc.we love each others company, i told 100% truth to her bcoz, if we go to next level of relationship then she will find lies. but i don't know that she is also telling me the truth or just playing like some girls do on these sites. i want to find out soon before i really get serious about her
Friends i need your suggestions, may be you know better than me in this situation,

It's a risk. Not all are honest online. Some have a personality that is different from real life and social networking.
I've been seeing people getting married after meeting online, then finding out that their partners are just photogenic and full of make up, then ended up divorce.
However, I guess the best way to know if she is true is by asking her friends too and looking at her profile. By how other people treat her and the way she treat others.

You are chatting with her for the last two months and you are not started trusting her? I think two months is more than enough to understand whether a person is real or not. There are so many ways to communicate now to know about the other person's identities. You can communicate through video chatting if any case of doubt there. Good luck to you.

Be careful man...I am not saying that she is not real but who knows.... the most important thing that you don't know....so just work in a safe manner....
