Is the Indiana primary the end for Ted Cruz?

I hope so. I have never disliked a politician as much as I dislike him. I apologize if I’m offending anyone. It’s been a rough few weeks for Cruz. That so-called alliance he made with Kasich to stop Trump fizzled out before it got started. Why Kasich ever agreed to participate in anything concocted by Cruz escapes my comprehension. Cruz’ announcement of Carly Fiorina as his running mate doesn’t appear to have done much for him either. Also, that half-baked statement of support for Cruz by Indiana Governor Mike Pence actually sounded more like an enthusiastic endorsement for Trump. Poor Lyin’ Ted. It’s really not looking good for him. Tomorrow’s Indiana primary is crucial for Cruz. Does he still think he’s going to win Indiana, go on to California, grab a batch of delegates and force the Republican Party into a contested convention in Cleveland? I don’t think so. Things are winding down for this most unusual and unpleasant first part of the race for President. Although Cruz, Kasich and Sanders are still hanging around, refusing to let it go, it looks like Clinton and Trump will face each other at the end of all this. If that happens, I don’t think we’ve seen anything close to how ugly things can get. As interested as I am in this nomination, I really don’t like ugly and am rather dreading it. Image: Pixabay

I think he's done after tonight. There's just no road forward for him to win. After tonight, assuming the polls are correct, I think Cruz has no choice but to drop out, assuming he has any desire to preserve his dignity.

I think he may be done but I don't think he's going to drop out. He wants it too bad to let it go.

Cruz is struggling with how to be a decent human being. Carly Fiorina fell off the stage introducing him and he looks over at her and then goes right back to shaking hands. Pretended he did not even see her fall. Does not see if she is OK. I am with you, this is going to be one of the worse elections I think I have ever seen. Yet, this country seems proud of itself. Media is bad, election process is bad and the whole darn thing is to long. People have to wait in line forever to vote. I have a feeling Clinton is going to get dragged down in Trumps madness. With all the money that is spent on these things. You would think it would be the greatest show on earth. Shows us more and more that money does not create a well functioning society. Our leaders have ruined that.

Wow, I missed when poor Carly fell off the stage. Cruz is only focused on Cruz and he's just using Carly. She's such an intelligent woman. What was she thinking supporting him?

I wasn't real thrilled with him either, then again, I felt the same about most of the runners

They are a tough bunch to like. I'm still not liking any of them enough to vote for them.

Cruz is behind Trump in the polls but I don't think anything is definitive yet. He is way behind Trump in California polls.

Yay and yay! Cruz is definitely going all out today for tomorrow's primary but I'm still hoping he doesn't do well.
