Fronted by charismatic vocalist Jyrki69, The 69 Eyes are a goth-rock band from Finland...don't stop reading, this has absolutely nothing to do with goth. I promise.
Before they morphed into a goth band, however, The 69 Eyes were a great glam/trash-metal group.
On their 1999 album Wasting the Dawn, the early sounds of their new direction were showing, particularly on the title track. Even so, there was still plenty of glam and trash to go around.
"Who's Gonna Pay the Bail?," featuring Entombed members Alex Hellid and Lars Goran Petrov, is about as trashy as it gets, a 100-MPH-in-a-muscle-car type of tune that's every bit as fun as it sounds.
And what could be Groovier than that?

You're right. I used to own a CD by another Finnish goth band called Two Witches. Good band, horrible singer.

'Who's gonna pay the bail?', sounds like a question that pops up multiple times during one of the many drinking sessions I have with my friends!

Yeah, once the topic of bail money comes up, it's a pretty good sign that everyone should call it a night!

@teamfreak16 true! Friends on a night out have a designated driver, our group has a designated person to cough up the cash.

They do a good job with the goth. Jyrki does a good Peter Steele impression.
