Lord Shiva is also called Bholenath. He is the God of pleasures and takes happiness with barest necessities. He is innocent and at the same time can get angry against wrong doers. The following things should be kept in mind while worshipping the Lord Shiva; The Phalus of the Lord Shiva should not be kept in a house where it is not worshipped; The size of the Phalus should always be equal to the size of one's own fist; Shiva should never be offered Turmeric at the time of prayer or during the prayer; He should never be offered KUMKUM or Red Colored powder (meant for ladies); He should never be worshipped with Coconut water; He should not be worshipped with KETAKI (yellow color flowers) as they are not meant for him and they had his curse; He should never be offered TULSI LEAVES; THE THREE MUSTS for prayer; Sandal ; Ice Cold Milk ; Water should be dribbling on the linga.
