What can I say. We are smart and witty.
I've asked some foreign people the same question and they told me the Filipinos are the most hard working people they've ever met.

@sol_cee I guess there's no such thing when Filipinos are working abroad. We try to blend in and do much better.

When I lived in Hawaii I was a Tupperware dealer and met two sisters (Filipinos) who married two brothers (Filipinos also). I became friends with them and even was invited to the baby shower of one sister. We got along fine..of course once I left Hawaii we lost touch.

@sol_cee yup, while some are big, many are frail and small. that is why there are S, M, L, and XXL.

@sol_cee - Hello Sol - Answering your questions - (1) having worked with some Filipino techies, I found them to be proficient in speaking their own language and that of mine, as well. They were extremely intelligent, and also very good-looking, much like me. (2) I call them my friends to the point where I am still trying to learn the Filipino language, "Tagalog." They speak that language downright nicely, as I would like to do myself. When I say something to them using words in Tagalog, they mostly answer with "Paumanhin po" (which is "excuse me...) I keep trying to think what they have done that needs to be excused...

@sol_cee - Sol - Oo ("yes") whereas "hindi" would have been "no." See, those are two Filipino (Tagalog) words that I learned. I am quite partial to the "oo." both for its spelling and for its meaning. Imagine how things would go for me if I used that word in answering questions from my bride... "Would you please let me have 20 bucks so that I can do a bit of shopping today?" Answer: "Oo." "How about $100? Will you break loose with $100?" Answer: "
"
