Is it safe to pay or buy an app in Google Playstore using your credit card?

I would like to try a video editing app so I searched for it in google playstore. I looked for the one that has good reviews and downloaded it. Unfortunately, I need to pay for it to maximize my use of the particular app.
Have you tried paying an app in Google Playstore using your credit card?Is it safe?

I'm cautious at using credit card for online payments except for airfare. If you need to, it would be best if you used the card with a smaller credit limit so your risk exposure would be lower too.

@sunrisefan I needed to submit it too. I was not a fan of credit cards. When BDO bank gave me a credit card with big credit limit, I immediately cancelled it without knowing that a credit card will be important for people who loves to travel.

@annierose I don't think your low credit card limit is the reason for your visa denial. They don't ask for your credit card number or limit, do they?

@annierose I see. So you missed your chance of having higher credit limit because you had your card from BDO cancelled. Missed opportunity because it's not that easy to get a card but Citibank is quick at getting new credit card holders and once you're in they pester your with offers like insurance, etc.

It is quite scary too to pay for something online using a credit card. But in booking a flight and for an accommodation, a credit card is important. When it comes to shopping, I prefer going to the mall and see the products myself than buying stuffs online.

@SIMPLYD I think majority of women love to shop. I also want it but because I want to be able to travel at least once a year abroad, I just save my money for my trip.

Thanks @justforhim for the contribution on my post. I think I can also edit my videos online but there are times that internet is weak. So I am thinking o having an installed app ready on my phone so I can do what I want to do wheather I have internet or.I don't have.

@annierose virtual Bitcoin Visa Debit Card from e-coin is $3 with $1 monthly fee. Just use EON if you have no Bitcoin Investment. :)
