Pretending to sleep....

Well I just got free from my chores and needed to lay down on my bed. My sister in law who resides beside my room was just waiting for me to get free so that I can babysit her boy for sometime. Usually I never deny her but today he is hell crying. Therefore I pretended as if I am sleeping. I desperately needed to put my back on rest. Have you ever pretended like this?

I have pretended to be sleeping several times when i don't want to be bothered.

i do sometimes when the dogs need to go out, i pretend i cannot and do not listen to their whines, so my son does it.

No but I have been on the receiving end of it, like when a baby cries in the middle of the night.
