I wanted to take some dance and musical classes for paying my monthly bill. I want to take some tuitions for paying my medical bill. But, I still hesitate to take up a job of Trash Can cleaning which is still a good job for one will get $100 in an hour. The list goes on unending. The most gruesome and horrible job that has not reaped the benefit of Technology is THAT OF SCAVENGER. Better I do not want to give a vivid description of how it is performed but I can leave it to the imagination of the readers to estimate the proportion of the dirtiness of the job by saying that the Scavenger will be paid a health maintenance allowance for the job, a Toilet Soap, A Washing soap, A phenyl Bottle, towards his perks every month. Here also, there will be some to share these perks, especially in India. The language may perhaps be not appropriate for using against the local politicians and officials on account of decency. Still, the fact remains that a scavenger still removes the garbage tyeing some cloth around his mouth and lifting the filthy baggage unmindful of the foul smell. He will lift sometimes even the smelling dead animals and decease spreading bacteria also and goes working like a solider protecting and ensuring a healthy life to the residents of a Colony. The most horrible aspect of this job is that the so called technology has never evinced any interest in introducing implements for the save and remoal of the garbages. After a long study tour by the ministers concerned with the Departs and spending lakhs of crores of rupees they could introduce some vehicles for lifting and cleaning the garbage that too after calculating their commission in the purchases.

You ever hear the expression “It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it”? Well that's what it is for taking out the trash. I understand you are considering the financial aspects. But you must also consider your health risks. If you are strong enough and healthy enough and as you indicated, certain precautions are taken or “perks” are given to keep you healthy … then think seriously along these lines. Because health is better than wealth. Sure! It's a dirty job to take out the trash. But imagine how much dirtier it would be if the trash never gets taken out. Now we're talking monumental health hazards! You have to weigh this out on the scales. Hope you make the decision that's best for you and your loved ones.

I recommend that you take into consideration all pros and cons before ruling out the opportunity completely. There are also needs of consideration that you must look into such as safety and practicality. Also, remember that this is a JOB. If it works for you temporarily, that's fine. If you can, look into reviews and articles about the job that you're taking, and see what others have said about the opportunity before you knock it.
