I like parties too, only not the kind that involve drugs and alcohol.

Even a few beers is okay now and then but when my brother tells his friend that he likes to feel good so he takes a line of that white powder up his nose. That is what rials me the most. In and out of the ER twice in a few weeks and still he hasn't leaned his lesson. When you want to party, just enjoy the company of others and have a few drinks, don't go doing Coke and guzzling too many brews. When I party I do it at home. That means if I ever had a beer it would be here at home, not out there where in between you must drive to get back home and risk everything in doing so.It's been so long since I had a beer I kind of took up iced tea instead. It's Texas Tea for me. Parties? I like parties. The kind that are pleasant and not high in numbers. I think a party of two or three or under 5 is okay but when the numbers go up there and you find yourself surrounded by every tom dick and harry on earth it's more like helter skelter I think not fun in any way shape or form. Give me a piece of birthday cake and a cup of good strong coffee and leave me be. I will set this one out at the couch while watching NCIS. That's what I call a party. Just don't party in excess.

I think that I prefer your kind of party!! I never like the other kinds of parties... even when I was young. Just not my thing!

a good party to me is not in the numbing of the mind and the separating of oneself from others in the room. Why get together if you are going to push others away? A nice get together may have gentle music, background music, pleasant conversation, some snacks and coffee or tea. I don't need booze to feel comfortable in my own skin. How can anything that makes you ill be fun? I'll never get it.
