Sairat is recently released movie, in Indian language Marathi. Directed by National Award winning Director Nagraj Manjule, Sairat is not a regular love story so common in Indian film industries. It takes you to the Rural Western Maharashtra and it's complex social fabric. Almost all actors are first-timers, but they had played their role wonderfully. In fact, cast director had chosen most of the cast from the locals, instead of importing them from Mumbai. First half is light, romantic but second half is a class apart. And Climax leaves you numb. I will not go any deep in the story, the movie is meant to be experienced in theater. If you are not a lucky one, you have other ways to grab a copy. Another movie from the same director, I would recommend is Fandry which was his first movie as a director and for which he had won National award and several other awards. A must watch.
