The old mylot members reminded me that there was this liking even before the old mylot where your likes will be( + )or dislike ( - ).
But I notice about three days now that there was these members here who keep hiting likes of all my comments and discussions.
(I Should thank them for that)
I am curious that what if there were a lot of members who hit the button like of your started discussions or your comments...do you get any rewards from it? Or they?

There was a 'like' button in the old version, they had the [+] and [-] buttons. If you 'like' something now, it shows interest, and it pays the person you gave the 'like' to.

By the way...the old version did take the [+] and [-] rating buttons into account, people with more [+] ratings earned more for their posts than people that got [-] ratings.

@jndlponti There are some users that seem to think they get paid for doing it (instead of the other person being paid) and some do it hoping to draw your attention to them and things they have posted

just wanted to add that in the old mylot the [+] [-] and [!] symbols is present on the lower right corner of all discussions, responses and comments so in a way it's still the same, we still had the same options.

Probably..because before during the old mylot I just hit like if I really do find the comment useful or informative or something that I just really like by reading it without any reason.

Seems there had been old version and new members arnt aware of that.. its nice to go through comments as we come to know a lot abt the functionality of this site.

Yes there is..because some of us here we're about 9years old of a member,some maybe are more I just do not know yet. But for me I was here since the year 2008 or 2009..not vs really sure..
