It's Another Day of Rain

It’s 8AM and it’s still raining.
I think it rained, off and on all night last night, and it’s still raining. The weatherman says it will continue to rain, even into tomorrow.
It has put a damper on my plans to run errands but there is nothing urgent that I need to do. Just the usual shopping for some items that can wait for another day.
I just don’t like to drive in the rain. I am a careful driver, but sometimes others are not. So, I try to stay out of their way.
It’s cold in the house today too, so I’ve got the heat on. 45 F outside and dreary. I might just go back to bed. LOL
I think I will do some cleaning in the house today instead. I am still working on cleaning out my home office. Yesterday, I got rid of two HUGE bags of paperwork that I no longer need. I have quite a bit that I could shred today. Invoices and some paperwork with sensitive information, like credit card numbers from some of my customers. I shred all that, but there were other things that I could just toss. My daughter took the two bags to recycle.
Since I will be stuck at home today, maybe I can get the shredding done and I have a couple more file cabinet drawers to empty.
Yesterday, I finally threw away all the jewelry catalogs, I had saved. I had kept two catalogs for each year, one for the Spring line and one for the Fall line. The oldest one I found was from 1990. Can you believe that?
I actually decided to keep it, because it was so old. The jewelry in it would still be fashionable today and I actually have a couple of the pieces still in my personal collection. At 25 years old, these pieces would be considered to be antique now.
I had fun looking through some of the OLD catalogs and realizing that I still have some of the jewelry. I wish I could show you some of the jewelry. Maybe I can take some pictures of it, later.
I think I will write a couple more articles this morning and then get busy with shredding and cleaning out my office. Then, I might take a nap.
I hope you have a wonderful day and a great week-end.

No, I don't get depressed with the rain. I know some people do. I just want to cuddle up in a blanket and relax, maybe take a nap.
