We had decided that Claudia would come for lunch and that she would bring Sofia. But we propose and life changes our plans. One of Claudia´s brothers in law was living with them. Maybe for a year or so and he was not working or trying to. Claudia´s BF gave him pocket money and he was to stop smoking or drinking and be with them until he had a mayor surgery (at Claudia´s BF´s expense). Two weeks ago he had to have an extra surgery because his arteries were clogged. Guess who paid for that? He got out of the hospital and started to smoke and drink. So they told him that he had to behave until his big procedure or he´d have to go. He didn´t, so Rafael (Claudia´s BF) told him he´d have to go. I want to add that he is past 50 years old so he should know what is good for him. There was a big drama, with this man telling Rafael that he was a bad brother and the like. By the way, he has 5 other siblings and a mother and they haven´t helped much yet. I am very sorry for them, but there´s nothing I can do until all is behind and I can cuddle them with a nice diner.

Only one, the minor one. He has not the pass yet for the big one because his body is a wreck. And still, he won´t try to behave, at least before the surgery.

@marguicha Addiction is a hard thing, and you can't make somebody want to stop. Sad...

@dawnald I was smoking 2 packs a day a month before my back surgery. The doctors told me to stop until after surgery as there could be problems with the anesthesia. I did.
