The Kentucky Derby Runs Tomorrow

I watched the 142nd running of the Kentucky Oaks race today. Fourteen 3-year-old fillies ran today for a crowd of about 125,000. The winning horse was Cathryn Sofia. I always enjoy seeing all the outlandish hats that the women wear to the race. The signature drink for the race is a Mint Julip. The Kentucky Oaks race precedes the Kentucky Derby which runs tomorrow as it usually does on the first Saturday in May. The expected crowd will probably exceed 170,000 at Churchill Downs tomorrow. Don’t miss the Kentucky Derby tomorrow. It’s the greatest three minutes in Sports history. I’m busy trying to choose the winner from the line- up. I don’t gamble but I always try to choose the winner. Going to the Kentucky Derby is on my Bucket List (something I would like to do before I die.) I probably will never get to go, because it’s always booked way in advance, but at least I can watch it on TV. I need to find out EXACTLY what time the festivities start tomorrow, so that I can see all the horses before choosing the winner. LOL I already know all their names. Do you like to watch the Kentucky Derby? Have you ever been to the Kentucky Derby? Picture by Pixabay
