Why is freedom so expensive?

Just yesterday,we awoke to the sad news of a strong government critic and anti-corruption crusader having been murdered in cold blood the previous day.He was shot ten times by unknown gunmen but his death has drawn angry reactions in Twitter where he had lots of followers.Though the government has remained mum over this,the opposition is calling into speedy probe into the murder. There claims that it is a political assassination since nothing was stolen from him and he has always put the government on a tight corner with information of corrupt top government officials. But even before his execution,he had earlier in the day put forward tweets that his assassination was discussed on Tuesday and went ahead naming a policeman who also works for a certain newspaper as part of the team tasked to eliminate him.And about 6 months ago,he had tweeted that he does not fear death when it comes to fighting for the sake of Kenyans.I think he died a courageous man who no one could manipulate.
