P.S. Filipinos way of living series, sort of.
Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day.
Some parts of the world has cereals, pancakes, bacon
, eggs, etc.
How about us, Filipinos?
Rice is our staple.food, so, it has.to be in our breakfast. Steamed or.fried(with lots.of garlic)
What goes.with it?
Dried fish that is fried to its crispiness, the one that we call "daing" or tinapa or smoked fish.
And you choose what goes.with it, vinegar, or tomatoes.
But there is what we call breakfast combinations.
Longsilog--longganisa(local pork sausage), sinangag(fried rice), itlog (egg, sunny side up)
Tapsilog--tapa(beef jerky), sinangag and itlog.
Tosilog--tocino(pork), sinangag and itlog.
And wait, Filipinos have addd more.of these three "pioneers".
Spam(the one in can), hotdog, corned beef.
Just have the first syllable changed and you come up.with the name.
Aren't we Pinoys or Filipinos have a full breakfast?

@Beatburn i'm not into dipping, but yeah, i can eat pandesal without any filling, especially if it's hot from the panaderia has a dark crunchy crust.
