That Tree Has to Go

One of the projects needed done in the back yard before I can add the privacy bushes in, is cutting down a mulberry tree. I like the tree. I don't like the fact it is growing through the fence. So, far it has not hurt the chain link fence. Sooner or later it will cause an issue. So, my boyfriend needs to cut the tree down. Have you have to cut a tree down in your yard? If so, why?

Just prune it and train it away from the fence. Cutting down trees is such a shame

It I allow it to keep growing that close to my home, I am only asking for my home to be destroyed from a number of things. One : When it falls over on my house where one of my children sleep, damage to the foundation from the roots, or damage to pipes from the roots. As the roots will grow towards the pipes eventually breaking them trying to get to the water inside. Fixing the damage from any one of those reasons are costly.

We had to cut down the big tree in our back yard last summer. Lightening hit it.

Yep we had to because it was destroying our fence. I didn't even know what tree was that because it just grew right next to the fence.
