Kanyakumari is the southern most tip of India Swami Vivekananda did meditation in a rock some distance away from Kanyakumari in the Indian ocean. That rock is made the Vivekananda rock.
Visitors from India and abroad come to visit the great place. In Kanyakumari there is water on 3 sides, the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean meeting in the same place.
Visitors are required to go from Kanyakumari to the Vivekananda rock by launch. There is also a Thiruvalluvar statue in the vicinity.
There is lovely breeze in Vivekananda rock and visitors enjoy the place.
