We all have some sought of phobias and fear deep rooted in our minds. There might be a story behind it or maybe not.In my case I have Phobia of blood also known as hemophobia. Now in general sense who likes the sight of blood really? But no I'am not talking about the general fear over here,I'am talking about the extreme irrational fear which makes you hysterical. Here are few of my stories that I'd like to share: There was this one time that an old nasty rusted piece of metal just pierced into my hand and by pierced I mean penetrated deep into my flesh.Since there was no one around me I had to pull it out all by myself. After I pulled it out the next thing I know is blood gushing out from my hand.Tears just rolled down my eyes, not because of the pain but be cause of the sight of so seeing so much blood. The fear was so intense that I almost didn't feel any pain. As strange as it may sound but I never look at wounds not even my own! Never ever! When I do get wounded I do ask someone else to see and tell it is bad or not.But there was this time I had to,so my brother met with an accident and there was no one at home other than me . So naturally I had to clean up the wound and do the first aid. After mustering all the courage I had in my little soul I begin to clean it up. But I felt like I would faint any moment so ultimately I had to give up and call my cousin sister over to do it. Now this one's pretty brutal.I happen to pass by a road where a man met with an accident and died then and there at the spot.It was a case falling under the jurisdiction of police so all the vehicles were stopped till the police and the ambulance arrived. By that time there was a traffic jam already and hence there was no way to get out or even return. So there was no way on earth I could avoid the scene. The mans head was slit open and blood had flown from his head to all over the road.I immediately began to feel nausea-tic and literally my whole body was shivering with fear These were some major incidents of my life but things as normal as getting a blood test done is a huge task for me. It requires lots of mental preparation and rehearsal and still I go panicky. So this was my story of Phobias.WHAT ARE THE THINGS YOU ARE PHOBIC TO/SCARED OF? IS THERE ANY STORY BEHIND IT?

My phobia is heights. I've gotten better with heights. There's people who have sever phobias. Yes, blood seems to be one of the top photos, if they see the sight of blood they'll faint. Some phobias are a bit strange but phobias one the least.

I guess fear of heights is pretty universal. We all fear height to some extent if not to the extent of phobia.

I have mentioned it in my earlier post as well that Public speaking has transformed my life. It just boosts up your confidence in a way no one ever can. I'd say your fear comes from another fear of being judged by people. Get over it and you will do well in life.

I do not have any particular phobia as such but when train Crosses over big river bridge and if the river volume is high, looking at it makes me little scary.
