My husband loves horchata. I like it too, and I made some for him this morning using this recipe. It is really good! It is almost all gone, and I will have to make some more. The thing that takes the most time is soaking the rice, but it is worth it. It is so easy to make too!
A refreshing Mexican drink made with rice, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. A great balance for spicy foods, enjoy this served over ice.

I have had so much Mexican food that I love but I never have had this horchata. Will have to ask for it next time I go to a Mexican restaurant.

It is really popular where I live in Southern California. They even have it in the drink dispensers at the gas station lol.

I dont think I could handle drinking rice but my image of horchata has been ruined by a show called "American Dad". THis clip in particular
From the episode "Toy Whorey" Stan travels to Mexico with Steve in order to get him laid. This is their reaction to the thrid brothel they visit there. Enjoy!

Perhaps it's delicious, but the name sounds like it's some spell mixture!
