Where Have I Been?

I was determined to scratch and fight my way onto MyLot today as I've probably been absent for over a week. I wish I could say my absence was due to me working on my novel but, alas, I haven't. I have been pretty miserable with my fibromyalgia because the weather is constantly changing. CONSTANTLY. Up and down. It's driving me nuts. I am currently on day 3 of a headache. They usually last 3 days so hopefully it will be gone tomorrow. Had to go to bed with an ice bag on the back of my neck and one on my forehead/eyes. I woke up feeling okay but the headache slowly crept back. I've been averaging 8-9 hours of sleep a night and am still tired. I could have slept longer but forced myself up at 1pm yesterday. Also, I've been over at NeoBux. The site has exploded adding 167 videos ads to click per day. They are worth more than the others and I have quadrupled my bank account in a matter of a couple of days over there. It takes forever to get through all those ads but I have a second computer on so I can multi-task. So that's about it. That and trying to collect enough points on Hawaii.com to get me a lot of entries into the contest for a trip to Hawaii. Yes, I still want to go. Oh, and the government came through with another $12,000 with 2 more tax years still to come my way. I'm going to stash $5,000 away in my own account so it won't get touched, and we're going to build a new deck finally. So that's what's been happening with me.

I'm glad to see you back. I'm sorry to hear that your fibromyalgia has been acting up, and that you haven't been feeling well. I do hope you feel better soon. What kind of novel are you writing? I'm currently writing a murder mystery.

My novel would be considered women's fiction. It's not really a romance because the romance is a very small part of it and that goes away very quickly. There's also a bit of paranormal in it. It carries a strong message that I think is really good and I hate myself for not getting it finished.

@dodo19 Editing is harder than writing the story.

The money I received from the government is for my disability. I applied for it 20 years ago and didn't get it. I applied again recently and they approved my status and gave me back pay for 10 years. I still have two more years of money coming my way (approximately $1,200/year). It's nice not to have to pay taxes after they came after my husband for $30,000 last year.

Welcome back, fibromyalgia sounds so debilitating, both my aunt on my mom's side had it and my dad had it. I saw how nasty it could be. :( So I hope you start feeling better.

We need consistent weather. This roller coaster is killing all us fibromites.

I consider it women's fiction with a bit of paranormal and romance. There is a message that I feel is important.
