Is buying Both the Xbox One and PS4 a waste of money ?

I wanna buy the Xbox One Master Chief Collection Bundle that has 500 GB and wanna buy the Xbox One for the Halos. I wanna buy a PS4 because it has more features and DLCs come eariler in the PS4 and Im buying a PS4 for next gen like Call of Duty like that and games works better in the PS4.

If you're a gamer, then it's not a waste of money. My brother has been buying expensive computers and gaming consoles but that's the only hobby he has. He doesn't go out much nor have any vices. So it's alright with us.
