Pregnant By Syringe?

Have you known anyone who got pregnant by artificial means? I do and the weird thing is that she is a certified NBSB (No Boyfriend Since Birth). We work in the same office and she was hired ten years ago, she was still young then and could have raised a family if she really wanted to. But she got too tied up in her job that she never had a love life at all. She later became aware of her biological clock ticking away and decided to have a baby without a daddy. Office mates jokingly offered their services and they are more than willing to father her baby but no thanks. In this era when everything can happen I still find it hard to believe that a life is created unnaturally. Only in the Bible do we hear about a virgin giving birth, but now, the idea is so ordinary, it's like something we discuss over coffee. i still think it's weird but we are all looking forward to meet the baby!

It takes courage to do that and I admire her for doing what she wants and focusing on having someone with her. I hope she'll have a safe delivery.

It's weird that she's a virgin and is having a baby soon. But artificial insemination has been a common knowledge for me. I guess having a sister who's an OB Gyne helps. But I had a student who has a problem conceiving and the only solution was to have it by artificial means and she succeeded. I was happy for her and the baby turned out to be a very handsome one an became a baby model in a magazine in South Korea.

Wow, that is so nice . However , didn't she find it a bit sad raising her baby alone ? And didn't she ever have the desire to at least know the donor of the sperm cell ?

Growing up without a father has somehow affected her resolve not to get married or to get involved with a man. I guess she can be happy with a child than without anyone at all.

I haven't heard that artificial insemination is available in our country. I would think surrogate mother will be possible.

Is she a virgin? You don't need a boyfriend to lose your virginity. She might have had a painful one night stand once and decided not to go there again.
