Myrtle Beach SC / myLot

I am planning a trip with my son to Myrtle Beach SC. We have been a few times but stick to mostly the beach and the hotel. I'm going to do a little research, as we are trying to stay a whole week instead of the usual weekend. Any museums or fun places in myrtle beach that you visit when you go to the beach? Any food places that are so good in myrtle beach?

I've heard it mentioned on TV shows and films, but didn't know it really existed. Now I am going to have to look it up!
