Yesterday Kolkata Knight Riders faced Gujarat Lions in Eden Gardens. It was a bad display of batting by Kolkata Knight Riders. Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa played bat shots and lost their wicket. They had been very consistent. In this match there was opportunity of Suryakant Yadav and Manish Pandey to prove their worth. They were hopeless and worthless. Their irresponsible batting led to drying of runs in the middle overs. Yusuf Pathan and Shakib played good innings but the score was below par at 158 runs. Gujarat Lions with brilliant batting of Dinesh Kartik, Aaron Finch and Dwayne Smith it was an easy task. Mccullum also played well. Gujarat won the match with 2 overs to bowl.
