A local muffler and brake shop tells us they can't find the doo dad to inspect our late model car.

State inspection month is May for us. We get it inspected usually within 30 days of getting our tags or rather our new sticker to drive in Texas. But, ours is a Cadillac 1995 and for that reason the OBD-1 device is required to check the status of the engine and other aspects of the car. I don't know why the guy at the garage is taking his sweet time getting that thing a majig handy for our State Instpection but if we don't get to do it there we have about 25 other locations we can go to get it inspected. It's just that his location is easy for us to get to, not only close to home by a few miles but a place to get a good cheap oil change and have our new brakes put on. If we can't get the car inspected there we hope to find a place nearby within the next few weeks before June arrives because that is the month we must have our car tags. Our car is a 1995 Seville and is only 4 years away from being an antique.

Sounds like a crock to me. What kind of doo dad do they need. And how do they inspect other cars?

I wonder that myself. He claims the 1996 and newer models use a different thing a madoozy. It could also be he hates white people cause of what Trump has been saying lately about deporting people back to Mexico. But I'm not prejudice. Others might be but I had friends all my life who are Mexican and black. I can't help the way things have turned out in politics but if such a thing as racism is being renewed because of recent statements by Trump it could cause a big mess in human relations on a national level. Other than that he may just have a problem with his thing a madoozzy.
