Today my 15 month old only took one nap. Normally he takes two naps during the day time. One at 10am ans the next at 3pm ans then gors to bed at 9pm. But I think he is trying to start taking one nap day which means soon his bed time will be at 8:00 or 7pm with his brother and sister. He napped today from 11am till 2pm. While I was reading stories to my oldes two children and putting them to bed my little one fell asleep in our bed while my husband was watching him. He work up not long again ans nursed for like 30 minutes let him play for A few minutes ans then put him back to bed. 9pm ans three kids are a slept amd in bed.

my nephew was like that until he's 2yrs old. we can never put him to sleep in the afternoon anymore. he sleeps early and wakes up around 4-5am and sleeps again or take a nap around 9am. they gradually change i guess..

As they get bigger naps drop off and they sleep longer at night time. My older two sleep for 12 hours at night from 7pm till 7am or 8am. My littles sleeps more then 12 hours but takes two naps during the day that adds up to 4 hours and then another 9pm till 7am.

Naps are quite helpful. I remember when one of my sons didn't like naps at all. It's nice when the little ones decide to go to bed. That's when your rest should ttake place.

They all use to nap two or three times a day and slowly drop them one by one. My oldest doesn't nap at all any more unless she is sick, my middle one still needs naps but wont take one unless I put him down for a nap or he'll fall a sleep some where in the house after a few days. The baby is the only one that naps daily besides me. He is about right on track for dropping down to one nap a day.
