He left a pallet of Baby Ruth Bars on the truck?

My wife got a phone call from one of her sons today. It seems he was fired by his boss of a trucking company for taking off from a delivery site with an entire pallet stack of Baby Ruth Candy Bars that were meant to go to a Cosco. It wasn't his fault. It was the stupid guy who did not bother to get inside the front end of the truck and take off that last pallet. You know that pallet must have been worth about 20,000.00 worth of chocolate! Her son tried to contact his employer of the trucking company to inform him that he was returning the last pallet of candy bars but no matter how many times he text him or tried to reach him on his cell, his boss never answered. By the time he returned with that last pallet he finally got a message from his boss man. You're fired. So he's working a few weeks at a garage maintaining cars for light repairs until he gets a new trucking job in about 14 days. But meantime he's got no place to sleep. He was sleeping in the truck cause his wife and him are separated and his girlfriend went off to be with another man and he's been unable to save anything cause his boss docked him 450 dollars from his pay check and his wife keeps asking for more alimony. So for my step son, life has been a bag of cow manure or a pallet of melting chocolate bars, for at least these past few weeks. I hope things turn around for him. Sleeping out in the outskirts of town among mother nature under the trees is not all it's cracked up to be. I wish him luck. He said his SUV was damaged by one of his girl friends who managed so somehow destroy the drive shaft and the cost of replacement is about a thousand bucks. Give me a break. Say some prayers for my wire's son. Cause nobody deserves this kind of raw deal. Those candy bars are still edible and they made their destination so what is the big freaking deal anyway?

That just happens to be the way things happen. To bad he had to sleep out in the open but things will turn around for him some time soon.

@Marcyaz A pallet of candy bars would be a good source of rations in an emergency but it would cost at least 10 thousand smackeroos and that is a big investment. Not very balanced diet though. lol.
