We had gotten home from shopping and made our dinner. I had just finished eating when it happened. What was it? Well, the power went off. No storm, no rain, no nothing! Sitting here, minding my own business and BAM! no power. I was just feeling around for my phone (knocked over my nearly empty soda) and then it came back on. Now I'm wondering why it went off in the first place. Yes, I left the computer off for a bit in case it happened again.

It's missing time, the moment when the light went out and on again is actually a warped time you thought was short but you were actually bducted by an alien and they made you think it was only for a sec. Haha kidding, nah it does happens sometimes, maybe they're fixing your lines.

Oh... is that what it was? I guess the whole neighborhood got taken by aliens... I don't know, our power lines in this neighborhood are underground.

Sounds like a brown out. Not sure why those happen, probably an overall power grid thing though. Odd. Usually, if that happens here, it happens twice but within minutes of one another.

We've had brown outs in the past, they don't go out completely like this. Still, it came back on and we haven't had a problem since.

It was probably just an overload or a glitch in the system, a squirrel or something got too close to the transformer. We've had that happen before, but if it came right back on you're good.

Actually, back in the early 1980's a critter took out the whole of Austin for HOURS and the phone company's and the hospitals had to use back up generators, and some of them didn't work!
