I just now got a call saying that thy are from an NGO and are raising money for the treatment of a 2.5 year old girl(a blood cancer patient).
i said yes for helping her but also asked them to send me the details via email so that i can check if it is legit.
they had real pictures of the girl. i tried to find out about her . she was a real patient in that hospital itself but this so called NGO was a SCAM !
it is so sad that some people are collecting money in the name of real needful people but not using the raised money for their help ! :(
The hospital authorities told me that thy get hundreds of such calls in a day and that this has become a new trend to earn money so dont fall for it !

Heartless people. Using others illness to make money. Can use their brain in some other jobs to earn money instead. U did a good job by verifying the details before proceeding to pay money . I think everyone should be careful in spending money while helping to make sure it reaches the right people.

dont believe on such phone calls and online stuffs for this ..
if one really want to help .. go directly to any NGO and help in whichever way u can !
