Do you have photos of your all family members around your HOME?

May 10, 2016 5:36am CST
I noticed that some of my friends have photos of their children and parents everywhere in their home, and some people dont. In my family we didnt really do this when i was growing up. My parents were rather modest around the camera. So now i dont that either. But now i was thinking to do this for the new year and put family photos around my apartment. It seems like a bigger mental issue than i thought. I will have to ask my parents for photos and they will be embarassed i think to pose for the camera. I will have to ask all my brothers and their children for photos. I will also have to make sure that I do not leave anybody missing or maybe someone will ask where are they. I am not married so therefore I cannot use the excuse that my wife wants to hang pics.. Is this normal, i mean maybe i am creating a big deal from nothing, but where do i start? Have done this from scratch? I have no pics anywhere of my family on my walls.

it seems to be the most important part of your walls. This can become very special.

It's a nice idea. If you want to have photos around you, then go ahead and collect some. If your relatives are puzzled, let them be puzzled. They'll get over it.

I have photos around of my kids and other family members, a few friends also. I miss them and the photos bring them closer to me. Don't you have any photos at all? Maybe start with ancestors and work up to family photos. Take a camera or smart phone wherever you go and take pictures when the family gathers together.

its so strange how people are so sensitive about their own photo, more in the past than now a days, but my parents will probably give me photos if i ask. I have none!

I used to have an old family photo on my wall. But it fell two years, a few months after I moved. So now it's leaned against a chair against the wall. No family photos, just of nature.

Yes, we have photos on our walls at my parents' place. From graduation to wedding photos, all of them may be seen hanging on our walls.

I do not have photos of my family in my home, the 2 photos i have on my bed stand are of my husband on our wedding day. I think i really dont need pictures to people im not close to in the first place, i will be lying to myself if i put their pictures anywhere in my appartment.
