Busy Day....

So yesterday it was Nebraska's primaries. The hubby took off early from work and we voted. Then we went ahead and went 30 miles to grocery shop. Yeah,we live 30 miles (one way) from a town that has a meat market and a Walmart. I was so looking forward to getting strawberries in my strawberry bed that I have been working on!! Walmart had sold out their strawberry plants already!! I did get a couple of tomato plants, as we still have tomatoes in the freezer and some hot pepper plants. By the time we got done shopping it was dark, we still had to bring the groceries in and sort. On the way home, we could see lightning in the distance....oh no!! I had some plants out on the deck!! We got home , I got the plants in and the hubby was unloading groceries as it started hailing!! So now today, I've got to finish putting up the canned goods, start a batch of buttermilk and do dishes! How's your "hump" day going? ~Peace~ photo is mine
