Those Two Dark Circles

I have been suffering from these dark circles since I started working.

@annierose I hope you'll find a way to lose that and I hope Ms. Toni has enlightened you on how to deal with it.

I have been seeing my eye doctor but he does not say anything about the dark circles under my eyes. My skin has always been too delicate that is why I think a natural remedy is much better. My mom always told me it might be because I do not sleep much.

@sunrisefan You are right, it's because we are ageing that's why it can't b avoided. I don't have dar under eye circle but my under eye starts getting deeper as i age. It's not because you don't sleep much. It's because of age, sadly. Drink plenty of water, avoid too much salt especially in the evening. And the natural remedy...maracuja oil for dark under eye circle. Don't forget to use an eye cream day and night, it helps too. There are cheap ones at Watson's, it may not work like the expensive ones but it helps.

@annierose That could be the reason. I think @Toni would know best how to hide those circles :)

i currently have The Body Shop but ive used others too. there are a lot of shades but i usually refer them as lighter, natural, and darker to simplify things.. just remember that your concealer must be lighter than your foundation. best if you watch few vids on youtube cause youve got to know how to put it right on your face too.

What brand do you usually use? Are concealers good for all skin types?

Have you been using maracuja oil? How does it work?

@annierose No i haven't since i don't have dark under eye circles but I have heard other people seeing positive results. I'm using a different oil but not for under eye

I wonder if it is safe for every skin type. My skin is very white that rashes or scars become very visible.

@annierose I'm not talking about any specific product but a way you can use different types of makeup in different shades to hide dark circles.

That is my problem as well that is why I do not wear my glasses much. By the way, what else do you do for your dark circles not to be very noticeable?

@scheng1 You are skin smart. My mom always warn me when putting something on my face. That is why I have been afraid putting any cream on it.

@annierose That's easy. I use BB cream together with sunblock and spread generously on my face. That will reduce the dark circles, and make my face with a reddish lint, as if I have just spent a day out in the sun.

You are lucky if you do not have them under your eyes. They said it is the result of staying late at night.

There is really no way to remove the eyebags when we get older?That is a very sad thing.

@annierose Well, there is . It's a minor operation . Belo has that , but it's costly , about 25k i think .

Do they apply for all skin types?

@Druscilla034 Thank you for all the suggestions. I am not knowledgeable enough when it comes to make up. I always ask for the help of the sales lady. My only frustration is when the sales lady do not know also how to answer my questions.

Oh. Aloe Vera works? We have Aloe Vera plants at home. Does it mean I can use the sap of aloe vera and put some of it on my dark circles?

@annierose Yes you can do that if you have the time and energy to do it. I just buy it . I generally apply it all over my face as it is really good for the skin too!

I also cannot read without glasses so I need to have it everyday. I am also forced to just wear it all day just to cover my dark circles somehow.

My sisters have dark circles under their eyes too but mine is worse than theirs.

You can read the other answers and I hope you are able to find a good solution for your dark circles as well. I might try the aloe vera.

It is expensive. I would like to try just natural remedy. Maybe there are.
