I have been thinking about this a lot. My family has been in the business of meat products ever since and its indeed good business until bad management toppled us down. And we have to rely on employment. I wanted to go back to business but a different venture this time. What do you think?

It's still best to have your own business for you to work with.

i'd like to be securely employed and probably open a small business. but i need people to take care of the business with me. if i am to own one, i'd like to be hands on as much as possible.

It depends. I have never been really employed for a long term. My parents were never employed as well. There are only two employees in our family, one is a nurse who works at the municipal health centre and my other brother, who's the Municipal administrator in our hometown. But the three of us, nope we're not employed and we're doing well. My parents raised us to be executives on our own. So it really depends on how you handle things. It's all up to you.
