Storming

I really hate when it storms. I am not really sure what it is about them unless it has something to do with seeing a tornado at one point in my life. I love what it feels like right before storm. But when the storm gets here im done for. Unless my hubby is here then i am ok with a storm. My hubby is at work right now and it is storming so bad outside. It is lighting and sounds like it is hitting things outside.

I actually still enjoy storms. My husband and I still love watching the storms come in together, but i will not forget that tornado we had. Our aunt, the kids, and me were out there head on with one so I do still worry about storms also when they come through. it started to storm here tonight and my husband is gone as you know so i got worried but it has settled down now so that has helped me.

@Jdaw1985 I have never really been afraid of storms, sometimes the thunder and lightening growing up but that was not to bad either. I do feel a lot safer when he is here, even though I know I will do whatever it takes to take care of my kids I still would rather him be here with me when something happens.

@crazzydolphin Yeah i know i would to i can go to the neighbors house if need be but at least if he is here then there is 2 heads thinking not just 1 LOL. And the thing that was scaring me tonight was it was so loud and it really sounded like the lighting was hitting the ground and the thunder was shaking the hole house not something i really was likeing but i stayed on the computer LOL.

Yeah and i am not really sure why it bothers me when he is not home. I guess it is more or less that if something bad should happen then what are we going to do just stand here and hope that i figure it out. I know that if he is home then he will know what needs to be done when it needs to be done. I gues i just feel safer when he is here. As i know that is how you feel as well.

My oldest son lives in Winston-Salem and I used to live there myself. One of the worst storms I've ever seen was a couple years ago when my grandson and I drove down to visit my son and just as we got close to his neighborhood, the sky opened up and the wind blew and we were caught in the middle of this awful storm. There were trees across most of the roads and I had to take a different route to get to his house. I am also very afraid when it storms. I usually sit in the stairwell when it storms and cover my ears so I can't hear the loud thunder. I'm not sure where Harrells is, but I will look on the map.

I gope hope the storms cease. I'm sure you would feel better when the storms pass. Stat in a safe place and let the storm pass. Everything will be alright.
