I don't like download manager for one simple reason.

Download manager in my browser downloads a page or a file but always wants me to tell it where to put the file and after that it wants me or rather demands that I confirm the download and delete it from the download history. If I could just download the stuff and not have to go through all the motions I would be ten times happier than I am at the moment and that isn't saying much.

You can tell Download manager to always put files in a certain place and not to bother you with where to put it. My Download Manager doesn't ask me to delete the download history (and if I want it to, I can tell the browser to delete download history when it closes).

You are a clever person. I had not thought about these options but I guess they were always there only I was too lazy to look for options, lol.
